Vutamin E reduces wrinkles . . .      A good multivitamin and mineral supplement helps to give your complexion the nutrients it needs. Extra amounts of certain vitamins may be needed in particular conditions: such as vitamin A rebuilds tissue and balances sebum production. Vitamin C helps your body to produce collagen, the connective tissue that keeps skin firm. Vitamin E reduces wrinkle formation, protects skin cells, and prevents UV-light damage. These Five supplements combat aging process because they are antioxidants or natural anti-inflammatory agents.

  1. Skin CareAlpha lipoic acid-is a powerful antioxidant that helps defend against damage caused by free radicals.
  2. Coenzyme Q10- is a antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties.
  3. Fish oil- contains essential fatty acids (DHA)and (EPA) which plump up the skin, keeping it supple.
  4. Grapeseed- contains antioxidant oligomeric proanthocyanins (OPCs) that strengthen blood vessels and slows signs of aging.
  5. Zinc- balances oil-gland function, encourages wound healing and regenerates skin cells.

Dos and Don’ts

  • Do drink at least eight 8oz glasses of distilled water daily.
  • Do use lukewarm water as to not strip skin of moisture
  • Do use regular massage and utilize dry brushing
  • Don’t use abrasive soaps
  • Don’t sleep in makeup

Avocado-Cream Mask

Freah Avocado     Here is something for those smelly sneakers. Mix a few drops of antibacterial essential oil (such as lavender, tea tree, rosemary, or peppermint) into some baking soda. Pack the mixture into a sock or stocking, and place into sneakers. Leave overnight and when ready to reuse add a few more drops of essential oil.

     Nourish dry skin and protect it from the effects of the sun, wind, and air-conditioning with the rehydrating mask. The recipe contains cooling cream, to restore skin’s moisture, and a swirl of soothing and healing honey.

Ingredients

  • Half a ripe avocado, peeled with seed removed
  • 1 Tbsp thick fresh cream
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1000mg capsule of evening primrose oil
  • 5 drops sandalwood essential oil
  • Rice flour, sufficient to form a paste

     Mash avocado in a bowl. Add cream, honey, evening primrose oil and essential oil. Mix until smooth. Add enough rice flour to form a paste. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Lightly remix and apply a thick layer to clean, dry skin over face and neck, avoiding eye area. Lie still for 15 minutes. Rinse skin with lukewarm water and pat dry. Apply light moisturizer.
