Field of Marigolds     These beautiful marigolds I planted years ago from a dear friend. They consistently come back planting and replanting seeds to become these beautiful blooms. As I took the pictures I noticed how vibrate the color was, how detailed each petal was and even the highlighted edges. I started looking through deciding what filters to apply, if they needed cropped, and which I liked best so I could delete the rest. An just like that I heard the still small voice inside me saying, "No filters necessary". Oh, how I have longed to hear those words spoken into my life. How often do we feel we have to filter who we are to be accepted and loved? We get so caught up in the filtering, cropping, and deleting the parts of ourselves that we feel aren't up to par or the world's standard. We forget," Who we are". We were created in the wonderful image of God. He loves us as is, no filter, no cropping, and no deleting is necessary. Does this mean we are perfect, by no means. It just means that He knows us intimately and loves every detail, every color of our personality, and knows that in the end we will be just who He has created us to be. He has no doubt in is ability to do so. He will be faithful to complete the work He begins in us. Trust His process and allow His beautiful grace to shape your life.

Dandelion maturing     Looking at this picture some may see a annoying weed that has no place in their yard. Some may see a herb that needs cultivated and brought to a maturity only seeing its potential for good. Regardless of what we see everyone, everything is created by the Father's hand with purpose, and is a part of his plan. Just as this dandelion may appear to be just a weed to some. In reality it attracts beneficial insects, nurtures the soil, creating a atmosphere for micro life to thrive, and tons of other amazing qualities. As Christians we get to look beyond what the world sees in those around us. We get the privilege of looking with the Father's heart to see purpose, gifts, talents, and unique qualities in those the world has rejected. Its our honor to cultivate and see their true potential. We are in the business of cultivating love. We can trust God with the rest.
