RhondaToday I woke up decided to haul off trash wanting to be productive. As I began a not so glamorous task some wet goop drained out of the bag onto my foot. I thought for a moment, ok it's gonna be this kind of day. Well, got two choices let it put me in bad mood or shake it off as I move forward toward my goal. I shook if off as I proceeded to load the trash bag it snags on car trunk umm... Same choices came up and so I shook it off once again. Came home to start on kitchen cleanup as my next not so glamorous task. I began with pouring beans into a container to place in fridge. I missed the bowl poured beans and juice into my favorite ballet flats... Ugh same choices yet again. Pushing forward I cleaned up my mess and finished kitchen cleanup. I have been given opportunities today to operate in patience allowing Holy Spirit to grow me. I have contended to hold onto the joy of the Lord for this is the day He has made and I will rejoice in it. It's silly little events of the day, yet a lot of times we will allow one event in a moment to determine the outcome of our entire day. Even deeper we will allow one event in our life to determine the outcome of our life. We have a choice and it is completely up to you on a daily bases of what you can do with it. #Life is messy #move forward

Peach Iris     My first peony and azalea in bloom! Yahoo!!! This iris had me puzzled this morning. It used to be brown and now its peach. The soil nutrients changed the bloom. It is beautiful but different. In this season of my life nothing is the same. God has changed the soil in which I am planted. The spiritual nutrients are different bringing to bloom different areas of my life. In order to grow in new areas there had to be change. I am thankful for good nutrient dense soil. He truly loves us so much that remaining isn't the goal. The goal is to be consistently growing in all He has for us. Nature surely declares His glory to my heart.

Pink Peonies     As the storm had passed, I took an opportunity to see God's handiwork with water droplets on it. I imagine we must look as beautiful as this to God when the water droplets fall from our eyes. There are days the words to say just won't come for that friend that is struggling, when we or someone we love is grieving or waking to still see a goliath standing in front of you. God is faithful. Notice the sentence ends with a period. Nothing changes God's faithfulness. Keep believing, keep walking in faith, keep moving forward, and never settle for less than Gods promises.
